Paintings

Here you can see a collection of my Paintings: I work mainly around three different topics; Nude and portraits, mountains-landscape and a personal, dream inspired, naïve-abstract painting style.

I work intuitively and mainly without a clear plan of size, subject or material. I often let myself be inspired through an emotion or an inner picture. For my “realistic” pictures – portraits, nudes and landscapes I try to put myself in a dialog or a dance with the object or person that I paint. Most of the naïve paintings are being created by a similar process and are a product of dreams, visions and inner dialogs.

The most important thing in painting for me is always to paint with “real” landscape or people on site.  My work evolves out of the given moment and the situation at hand. I take pleasure in the challenges given when it comes to painting the constant changes in nature as well as the ever-unique outcome of the dialogue between the model and me.
